The developer owner of the Burn Bullock wants to build onto the rear car park, and take the space used by the cricket club’s storage shed.

The Mitcham cricket club has been unable to pay rent to the owner for the last ten years. The club has decided it would be better to buy their section of land, comprising the pavilion and storage shed, from the owner. The sale price of the section they want to buy is unknown as the developer wants to get planning permission first before they set a value on the whole land.

As of August 2019, the Mitcham cricket club have raised £1,595 so far.
