1910 Conservative Club Garden Party

-A very pleasant garden party and al fresco concert were held in the grounds the Conservative Club on Wednesday evening, and there was a large attendance which included the President of the club, Mr. T. Cato Worsfold, and Mrs. Worsfold.

The grounds were illuminated when it became dusk, and there was an interesting performance by the celebrated troupe of Mitcham Minstrels. Dancing was also indulged in to the strains of Mr. Swann’s Quadrille Band.

Mr. J. G. Craig was a capable and genial M.C., and the committee who were responsible for the whole entertainment and are to congratulated on its success were Messrs. A. J. Watson (chairman), Hunt, Mansfield, Stringer and Swann.
