It really was a fine old Edwardian house, four very large rooms, three smaller rooms, a kitchen, scullery and boiler room ( we had an oil fired central heating system installed) … a brick walled garden eight feet tall with good sized gardens to front and back. With its access straight onto the Common Mitcham was our home for some ten years
