William Richardson, cobbler

He mended shoes at Church Road, opposite the parish church, for over 50 years. He made the boots for the local people and Mitcham cricketers; his brother Tom, was a famous Dr. W. G. Grace-era cricketer.

He died in 1949, aged 83.
