1916 Soldier killed while street gambling

Henry Seale, a stock breeder, of Mitcham, was sentenced to nine months’ hard labour at Surrey Assizes for the manslaughter of Private Edward Ede, a wounded soldier living at Croydon, striking him on the head at Mitcham. His brother, Isaac Seale, was found not guilty.
