Sherwood Woodcraft Folk

SHERWOOD WOODCRAFT FOLK

A part of the Co-operative Youth Movement, the Woodcraft Folk organise youth for social, cultural and recreational activity; develop personality and character through healthy interests and self-discipline; and teach the social significance of Co-operation as a way of living. Activities include hiking, camping, dancing, discussions and debates. Meetings are held in Pollards Hill School on Thursdays at 7.0 p.m., and many outdoor activities are pursued in addition. Particulars may be had at the school or from Mr. G. Renelt (Jr.), 162 Manor Way, Mitcham.

Phalanx Club

PHALANX CLUB
Service to their school, the County (Grammar) School for boys, is the qualification for admission to the Phalanx Club, which meets in the County School on Wednesdays at 7.0 p.m. A variety of activities is arranged and the club participates in Youth Council sporting events. All communications should be addressed to the School Captain, County School for Boys, Commonside East, Mitcham.
