MITCHAM DIVISION GIRL GUIDES

Girl Guides Association

Objects: To develop good citizenship among girls by forming their character, training them in habits of observation, obedience and self-reliance, making them loyal and thoughtful for others; training them in welfare work which will be useful to the public, and in handicrafts and arts which will be useful to themselves; helping their physical development; making them capable of keeping good homes and bringing up good children. And in all this camping, campcraft and woodcraft is the basis of the training.

Membership Ages: Brownies 8-11, Guides 11 and over, Rangers 14 and over.

Mitcham Division: Commissioner, Miss F. Mizen;
President, Mrs. Bailey.

Mitcham District: Commissioner, Miss Alcock.

East Mitcham District: Commissioner, Miss F. B. Lack.

1st Mitcham: Hq., “Star” School, Friday evenings.
2nd Mitcham: Hq., Bond Road School; Friday evenings.
3rd Mitcham: Hq., St. Barnabas’ Hall; Monday evenings.
4th Wakefield: Hq., Wakefield Hall; Thursday evenings.
5th Mitcham: Hq., St. Mark’s Road School; Tuesday evenings.
6th Mitcham: Hq., St. Barnabas’ Hall; Tuesday evenings.
