This mosaic, depicting Mitcham Common, was produced by Louise Frewin and Karen Parry. It shows the Mitcham Golf Club building, which is close to Mitcham Junction Station. The funding for this artwork was from a local developer.

find the council minutes from 2012 that told the story of this artwork.

Party to Welcome
Son HomeA jolly evening was spent at the White Hart Hotel, Mitcham, when a dance and party was given by Mrs Webb to welcome home Bert, her eldest son, who has just returned after four years with the R.A.F. in the Middle East. His father, the late Mr H.J. Webb, was a well-known newsagent in London-road.
Over a hundred friends and relatives attended.
