The day started with a request being played for the couple on “Saturday Club.“

The bridegroom is promotion executive for the Pye Record Company at Mitcham, and lives in Cedars Avenue. His father, Jack Heath is a music publisher, and the music business was well represented at the wedding.

Among the guests was Mr. L Benjamin, managing director of Pye Records, together with Pye A and R man John Schroeder. Drummer Tony Reeves represented the Sounds orchestral group.

The bride has been principal boy in amateur pantomime at Bromley for the past two seasons. Her mother, Mrs. Bobbie Coe, was for some years manageress of the New Theatre at Bromley. She and Mr. Coe live at Murray Avenue, Bromley.

Given away by her father, the bride wore a simple, full-length gown in white satin, with a long veil and train topped by a tiara.
