West Brothers – printers

Was at 188 Streatham Road as listed in the 1954 telephone book.

From the Mitcham News and Mercury, 21st April 1950. “Staff and employees of West Brothers, Streatham Road, Mitcham, printers, set off for their outing to Bognor Regis on Saturday. They found themselves the only coach there.”

Amongst their prints was “Palmer’s ABC of Fabricated Steelwork” and “The Sentinel” the journal of the North Mitcham Improvement Association”.

Possibly built mid to late 19th century. Earliest reference found so far in the British Newspaper archives in from 1874:
