Hammond Avenue

Road off east side of Acacia Avenue, opposite the St Marks Academy (formerly Eastfields High) school. It was built by New Ideal Homesteads Ltd. whose brochure said that their Dudley Park Estate, was in Fireworks Lane adjoining Tamworth Lane, near the Pains Fireworks factory.

Fireworks Lane, or Firework Road as shown on maps, was renamed Acacia Avenue.

From the brochure of New Ideal Homesteads Ltd. The Type SE bungalow.

In this video I read from the sales brochure and, using an inflation calulator, determine that the sale price of £650 for the Type SE bungalow, is equivalent to around £50,000 in 2021.
